ONIRONAUTA is a poetic homage to the cuban poet Omar Valentín Herrera and the Republic of Cuba. Caught in 16 mm images the face and poetry of Omar is a mirror of the inhabitants of the caribbean island. His poetry combined with the observational, 16 mm images of everyday life, create a deeper understanding of the complexity of life on the isolated island - reflecting on vanishing memories, transience and the fear of a human to be invisible.
